Our rye bread was voted one of the best in the U.S. by a leading publication and was discussed on NPR as one of the best you can buy. We use a sour (aka “starter”) that is over 75 years old in our rye formula which gives it a distinctive, sour dough flavor. Loaded with caraway seeds, one bite of our rye bread and it will take you back to the golden days of Jewish bakeries. Nothing beats a piece of rye toast in the morning!
Note: Bread comes sliced.
Instructions: The sliced rye bread will be packaged in a bread bag in order to maintain freshness. Since we do not add any preservatives, the rye bread will last three to four days at room temperature.
Freezer: Rye bread can be frozen in the bread bag it comes in. It can last up to several weeks in your freezer. Thaw out about one hour before serving.
